Ah, Bill O' Reilly, how your hate filled bile makes my spleen go all tingly.
Bill recently said of Barack Obama's refusal to turn the Fort Hood tragedy into a terrorist attack story capable of creating a groundswell of fear and loathing sufficient to justify the invading of another country (if there is one, make it Norway, I never really liked Norway, and I bet there is at least one Muslim there, the USA…

This is my first blog and i would like to write a few sentences about hostels. Hostels are a fantastic style to see the world on a low budget. From the cheapest to the more grand there is something to accommodate every taste and budget. The great thing about
hostels is that tons of college students flock to them since they are cheap and fun so there is all the time plenty of student travelers around to party with!
In most every other part of the globe host…

It must have seemed so perfect. An obscure blogger unearths some pages of President Obama's college thesis. The report supposedly comes from big-time journalist Joe Klein of Time magazine. And the thesis has some real gems: like Obama's disdain for the Constitution.
The whole thing was nothing more than a satirical post on a humor blog. But Rush Limbaugh, who quoted from the supposed thesis on his radio show, sure wasn't laughing. Here's how it went down.
An unkno…

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana's governor and a U.S. senator joined Friday in calling for the ouster of a local official who refused to marry an interracial couple, saying his actions clearly broke the law.
Keith Bardwell, a white justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish in the southeastern part of the state, refused to issue a marriage license earlier this month to Beth Humphrey, who is white, and Terence McKay, who is black. His refusal ha…

There’s nothing more traditional in American politics than the wholesome family portrait: a beaming candidate, beaming spouse, reluctantly beaming teenagers.
But when Bill de Blasio, a candidate for public office in New York City this fall, put his family in his campaign mailings and TV ads, there was nothing routine about it. De Blasio’s wife of 15 years, Chirlane McCray, is black, his children are of mixed race and, even in one of America’s most liberal…

NEW ORLEANS – A white Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have.
Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.
"I'm not a racist. I just don't believe in mixing the races that way," Bardwell told the Associated Press on Thursday. "I have…

WASHINGTON – A controversial e-mail message buried by the Bush administration because of its conclusions on global warming surfaced Tuesday, nearly two years after it was first sent to the White House and never opened.
The e-mail and the 28-page document attached to it, released Tuesday by the Environmental Protection Agency, show that back in December of 2007 the agency concluded that six gases linked to global warming pose…

How did this happen? When all we wanted was a better life. How did this happen? While that promise was still alive. When they offered us all that when our houses gave us so much promise. When they gave all of us the chance of that American dream.
We thought they told us the truth. We thought they told us the truth.
They offered that chance of this American dream. People making so little people offering us that chance of the American dream. We bought hook line and sinker. But you know what they…

The Blackstone private equity empire is buying 10 US theme parks, including SeaWorld tourist attractions in Florida and California, for $2.7bn from brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev in a deal building the buyout group into one of the world's top investors in amusement destinations.

Friends,
I'd like to have a word with those of you who call yourselves Christians (Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Bill Maherists, etc. can read along, too, as much of what I have to say, I'm sure, can be applied to your own spiritual/ethical values).
In my new film I speak for the first time in one of my movies about my own spiritual beliefs. I have always believed that one's religious leanings are deeply personal and should be kept private. After all, we've heard enough…

In the past few months, Fox News' critical coverage of the Obama administration has been the subject of scornful scrutiny by left-leaning pundits and political satirists. But now the White House appears to be willing to get dirt on its own hands, jumping into the fray by blasting the network's "disregard for facts" in a post on the official White House blog.
Written by White House Online Programs Director Jesse Lee, the post takes issue w…

My goodness that assemblyman from my place in Chino talked about spanking his lobbyist. Boy I always knew they paid them off with money but I had no idea that Sempra Energy got their people to do the casting couch thing with their lobbyists.
I always thought they sucked but now I have proof. And today this miserable family values man, married, going to whatever church he might like to support this man has resigned I guess because he could not face the fire. And as he left he left this statement.…

From as early as my son was able to pick out his own toys - he has been obsessed with GI Joe. Since that time he has collected everything under the sun that is "GI Joe". He wanted no other toys - the older he got - the more plentiful his collection. The summer before he entered middle school, he decided he wanted to attend Camden Military Academy in Cam…

The Republican Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal, proposed the following for a national health-care policy:
Insurance reform. Congress should establish simple guidelines to make policies more portable, with more coverage for pre-existing conditions. Reinsurance, high-risk pools, and other mechanisms can reduce the dangers of adverse risk selection and the incentive to avoid covering the sick. Individuals should also be able to keep insurance as they change jobs or states.
Problem: The…

Bill Clinton. George Bush. Jimmy Carter. They’re all pretty easy to pronounce.
But Barack Obama is not so simple. And before he was world famous, people regularly butchered his African name (Bay-rack anyone?). As president, Barack Obama takes care to get pronunciations correct — from heads of state and foreign nati…

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a fiscal emergency on Wednesday, forcing lawmakers to tackle a budget gap that has raised the prospect of drastic measures to keep the state working.
Lawmakers debated late into the night Tuesday but could not agree on a plan to balance California's budget -- now showing a deficit of $26.3 billion -- in time for the new fiscal year, which began on Wednesday.
That left state offic…

ANNANDALE, Va. – At an emotional forum in Virginia, President Barack Obama hugged a cancer patient Wednesday and vowed to bring greater efficiency and accessibility to the nation's health care system.
Debby Smith, 53, of Appalachia, Va., fought tears as she told Obama of her kidney cancer and her inability to obtain health insurance or hold a job. The president embraced her and called her "exhibit A" in an unsustainable system that is too expensive a…
