my name is rita and my grandfather was LENT SHAW(correct spelling). i have completed this year an ancestral history of my family including all of the old original pics of granddaddy lent shaw.
my mother was one of the eleven children left fatherless by this horrible act.we have always heard the stories of the lynching and how my grandmother GEORGIA HILL SHAW ended up in chicago.
i would like to contact charles, as i am sure his great,great uncle is included in my research:census records,old family pictures(that i have shared with most of the family here), and also my cousin
calvin hill in cincinnati and would like to share this rich history with charles.we also have family from georgia in tennessee.we had a family reunion a couple summers ago here in chicago with family from cincinnati in attendance.

I just found out that Lint Shaw is my great great great uncle.my dad showed me the article in our local cincinnati paper(Cincinnati Herald).only thing they misspelled his last name Saw instead of Shaw.He was my grandfather's brother
