ImpeachSpace

I realize that I am a latecomer to the 9/11 Truth Movement and the Impeachment Movement. Perhaps I am watching videos and reading material that many of you have watched and read years ago.

Be that as it may, I just watched BridgeStone Media Group’s Beyond Treason yesterday.

I have not recovered.

I am unable to do any operations involving thinking or even organizing. I have slept most of the day, more because I could not lift myself out of bed than because I needed rest.

The video is about the manner in which the United States military treats its soldiers and its “enemies.” Some of the points made that finally did me in have to do with the use of internationally-banned depleted-uranium (DU) weapons.

Doug Rokke, the medical officer assigned the post-invasion "clean-up" that was later found to be poisoned and Learen Moret from Lawrence Livermore Labs (thanks for the names, Kate) were the two sources who discussed DU weapons with the most authority.

What they said was that DU weapons were used in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Where they have been used, they have basically irradiated the area forever … or for a billion years, whichever comes first.

Once the DU shell bursts and heats up the DU, the DU is converted into a aerosol dust that settles on the area and makes it unfit for human habitation or anything else. I am not aware that those weapons were used in Baghdad and other urban centers but one horrifying development suggests that the DU has spread to urban centers.

(Further research - thanks to GAchin - has indicated that DU weapons were not used on Baghdad in Gulf War 1 but that DU as wind-borne dust has in fact reached and contaminated Bhagdad and Basra since then. It has also contaminated the water supply. As shocking as it may be to our sensibilities, we may have to face the fact that Iraq may one day become an uninhabitable, irradiated wasteland.)

(Thank you for the cooperation being shown in pointing out vital research, names of authorities, etc. by people on this website.) (1)

That development is all the Iraqi babies born with terrible deformities like one eye, malformations of every description, no limbs, etc.

If you got through the pictures of them, it showed the same horrors with American babies born of soldiers who were contaminated by DU dust, transferred via their semen to their spouses. (Their spouses also later suffered from contamination.)

In the first Gulf War, it stated that the Iraqi chemical and biological storage site was located. The weapons were all imported from the United States, Britain, Russia, and Jordan. The only way to hide this fact was to blow up the dumps. However doing so contaminated all the soldiers downwind of the huge blasts.

It detailed the troubles that returning soldiers have had from so-called “Gulf War Syndrome,” which is nothing else but contamination by DU and chemical and bacteriological agents. Ten-thousand soldiers have died as of whenever the film was made (I think 2004) and 250,000 are debilitated.

Given that these soldiers are dead or dying because of actions taken by the U.S. military, does it not rather look like the United States is prepared to expend, kill off, or lose an army a conflict?

Given that officers were told to tell their men, and did tell them, that chemical alarms going off were malfunctions and that the troops were not to don their chemical gear, does it not seem as if the military does not care for its personnel?

This is an execution where officer after officer steps up to the dead victim and fires another coup de grace.

Here is one coup de grace. The manufacturer of the chemical gear made a sloppy job of it and most gear did not work. The manufacturer fled into bankruptcy. But the soldiers were the ones who suffered.

Here is another. One donning and doffing of the chemical gear and it was no longer of any further use. It would have been contaminated once it was taken off. Did no one think of this?

And another. There were warnings prior to the Gulf War about the dangers of DU weapons but no one in command paid any attention.

And another. The Veterans Administration made it as hard as possible for anyone to claim benefits as the result of “Gulf War Syndrome.” They denied tests on leaving the States; they denied tests on returning. They made the individual prove that they had something and then prove the connection between that condition and the war. When a soldier retired from the service, his wife and family, who had also been infected and affected, were cut off from benefits.

And a last - the real - coup de grace. The military tried out experimental vaccines on soldiers which themselves also caused grievous, debilitating effects.

One soldier recalled with irony how, when he went into the recruiter’s office, the recruiter said that, if the soldier was hurt in any way in combat, “we will take care of you.” In his case, as in that of countless thousands, the VA did not.

How did all this get started and how will it be stopped?

Here I wish to add a postscript: I recently read a website where an “Open Letter” I sent to the Prime Minister of Canada and every Member of Parliament was criticized. People focused on the smallest of ambiguities and based their cases on that.

This message is for you: Yes, I am writing this article from memory. If you wish to argue against it, argue against its main points and rebut them with evidence.

You are only kidding yourself and distracting attention from a catastrophe by running with minor and peripheral issues.

Depleted Uranium: Pernicious Killer Keeps on Killing
By Craig Etchison, Ph.D.
This article really describes all known aspects of it thoroughly:
http://www.zianet.com/XLexcel/OHBOY.html#DU

It explains HOW the US military denied the DU affects by using testing that applies to contamination from U235; as in uranium dust in the mines, fuel rods, nuclear weapons manufacture, etc... Some vets with "gulf war syndrome" have gone out of country for the appropriate testing because the military refused to test for the effects of the "gasification" that occurs when DU metals explode, creating miniscule nano particles that the military's quasi-testing miss entirely. This stuff is all over the place in Iraq, and traveling downwind in the dust of the desert. It is so pervasive by now that it is hard to imagine how anyone spending any time in Iraq will not be contaminated by it. This is genocide on a much more massive scale than has ever been perpetrated previously. DU was also used in Kosovo.

To consider DU as poisonous was made "taboo", and that STILL has not worn off even now that it has been scientifically quantified and appropriate testing devised. At this point, writing to congress about it has been meaningless as, except for very few, like Dennis Kucinich, the legislators hide from it in taboo-land where they assume the position of feigning naivete.

It is hard to fathom such evil, but even more mystifying, these most disgustingly inimical of "people" actually planned to STAY in Iraq! Iraq has (had) the major fresh water source for the area, which was a main motivating factor for Iran in the Iran/Iraq war. Besides the US military contaminating the rivers terribly by habitually tossing dead bodies into them, (besides the runoff from all the open-street sewers), the rivers have also been contaminated forever and a day by DU's nano-dust.

They are quite literally DESTROYING the military since such a high percentage of the people who spend time in Iraq are being exposed to DU dust. I believe the number of Gulf war '91 vets known so far to have DU poisoning, besides the 20,000 who have died from it already, is 250,000! This is a terribly heart-rending thing, but is also totally mind boggling. Evil generally DOES do ITSELF in, it just takes too long to go about it.

Strategically ocurring anuerisms among the perpetrators and plotters would surely be appreciated! These troglodytes have consistently demonstrated gaping, glaring weaknesses in their mental/emotional fabric while going about so nonchalantly explosive in character and action, tossing thousands of bombs about willy nilly, reveling in their shock and awe, so one might naturally think that some phenomena like anuerisms would be quite personally relevant..........

There is an underlying, unconsciously held and maintained national taboo that prevents "civilized" human beings, especially citizens of a such an idealistically "civilized" national "heritage" from considering such evil intent except in the most aberrant criminals. It is especially taboo to think such predatory malevolence could be the nature so prevalent among their leaders, much less to consider it so rampant among them, that they are actively and purposefully manifesting it in grand design. This is the greatest barrier standing in the way. It prevents most people from even beginning to recognize what is going on, much less for them, and in great enough numbers, to be stirred into action for counteracting it. Without that recognition, they are dumbfounded and continue to be easy prey, as unconscious participants in their own demise which is the demise of all.

With too few exceptions, those in the legislature who are not either complicit, or fully active participants, are stymied and retreating into "assumed naivete"; in otherwords, like ostriches with heads buried in the sand and KEEPING them buried.

We need our fellow citizens and those of the legislature who

These pages have become too dysfunctional! There is definitely something wrong with the programming. Once again it has 'disappeared' the rest of that post. I finished off the paragraph that is now a partial sentence, and left it at that, though the original had had more--- then 'saved' it, and it just sat there for about an hour with none of what had been written showing. It said "saving". I went off finally and did a few things elsewhere and it was still stuck on stupid there when I came back. Finally, I reloaded the page to see what that would do, and what I had added to complete that paragraph, plus most of the rest of that paragraph had also disappeared......

On the first round, there had been a couple more paragraphs there, bringing it to a point and conclusion........

Has this been happening to anyone else?

I will try to remember from now on to write for these things on an e mail message screen and paste them in! That way when the page eats part of it, I can paste that part back in, or into the next one as if replying to it!
Spyware running in the background messing it up, or what?

Jacob,

Can you look into the reports of the "save" function not working please? I've heard a few reports now.

GA,

I cannot tell you how therapeutic and helpful it was for me to read your reply. Hmmm.. before going further ... I think I'll switch to Word in case I lose my reply ....

I have had to let go of attendance at a weekly dyad circle because I was bumming people out talking about 911 and such. That was my circle of friends.

There is nowhere for me now to discuss these matters.

To have had such a full reply from you, which articulates so many of the things I have been thinking was very releasing.

I am still “recovering” from watching Beyond Treason<.i>. The sight of all the DU-related injuries and malformations really did me in.

The thought that the American army can kill off each succeeding generation like this…. OK, a critic can say “250,000 were not killed off. They were debilitated.” Correct, but they will die a lot sooner than the rest of us and the rest of their lives will be reduced to a much smaller circle of functionality.

It is all beyond me, utterly incomprehensible.

Where have we gotten to? What will it take to stop the monster?

Thank you for taking the time out to write such a detailed reply, GA. I feel better having had a conversation about it with somone.

Thanks, Russ,

I am rapidly losing old colleagues, now friends. I can see how one can lose balance looking at matters like these. But I am retired, single, with no children, so I have far less excuse not to be doing this work.

Thanks for the note of support.

Hey guys,

Sorry if some of you have had difficulty saving your comments or posts--I'm looking into this. The most likely cause of this is simply a temporary loss of your internet connectivity, which happens a lot. If you sometimes have trouble loading other web pages, that's probably the culprit. Another possibility is a momentary glitch with the servers.

I'll let you know if I find out anything more. In the meantime, I definitely recommend that when you write up something lengthy that you don't want to lose that you do it in Word or some other file you can save on your own computer before posting, just in case. I've lost some important messages in the past using webmail accounts like Hotmail and so have gotten in the habit of keeping a backup myself.

Okay there IS a maximum length for Forum replies: 40,000 characters, which is equivalent to 15 to 20 typed pages. So I don't think that's an issue unless you're posting chapters of your novel!

That was helpful.
